Meet Our Pediatric Dentists

Dr. Kuljit Singh, DDS

In addition to completing dental training in India, Dr. Kuljit Singh received his Doctorate with honors from the University of California San Francisco (UCSF), School of Dentistry. He then continued his training in general practice residency at Mount Sinai Queens Hospital. To further continue his passion for pediatrics, Dr. Singh went to Harlem Hospital ( affiliated with Columbia University) to specialize in pediatric dentistry. Dr. Singh resides in the Long Island. In addition to enjoying time with his family, Dr.Singh enjoys traveling, music, sports, and exploring the city.

Dr. Singh stays current with the latest procedures, techniques, and materials that are available for improving your child’s dental health. He also regularly takes continuing education courses.

Dr.Singh is an active member of the American Dental Association, American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, New York State Dental Association, and Suffolk Dental Society and is certified in BLS, ACLS, and PALS.

Dr. Ashley Lerman

Dr. Ashley Lerman is a board-certified pediatric dentist and a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. She completed her education at Columbia University College of Dental Medicine, distinguished as one of only four U.S. dental schools that integrate dental and medical curricula. Her specialty in pediatrics and special needs dentistry was completed at Columbia-University New York Presbyterian, affiliated with Morgan Stanley Children’s Hospital. Driven by a desire to enhance oral health and access to preventive education and information, particularly for pregnant women and caregivers, she founded Firstgrin. This initiative distributes oral care kits via OBGYNs and pediatricians and offers an educational app for parents, promoting early and effective oral health habits, as well as connecting to providers. An active member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and the American Dental Association, Dr. Lerman is committed to ensuring lasting oral health for families and their children.

Dr. Rebecca Dunninger

Dr. Becky was born and raised in Lindenhurst, NY. She attended Suffolk County Community College for two years before transferring to Stony Brook University to obtain her bachelor’s degree in Psychology. She returned to Stony Brook School of Dental Medicine where she then received her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree.

Upon graduating dental school Dr. Becky went on to complete two residency programs, the first one being a general practice residency at St. Barnabas Hospital in the Bronx providing comprehensive care for both children and adults. With her experiences in both dental school and residency, she realized her passion was to work with children and went on to pursue a residency in pediatric dentistry. Dr. Becky completed her second residency in Pediatric Dentistry at Children’s National Hospital in Washington, D.C. During her two years at Children’s National Hospital she gained extensive experience treating children with different special healthcare and dental needs.

Dr. Becky is a board-eligible pediatric dentist with the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry and an active member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. She is also devoted to outreach and has volunteered to provide dental care on the local, national, and international level.

Dr. Becky is excited to be back home to provide a positive dental experience and quality care for the Long Island community. In her free time she enjoys traveling, going to concerts, and spending time with family and friends.
